2009 Foals

We had a fantastic growing season at Mount Penny in 2009. With over 500mm falling over our paddocks we had a variety of grasses and clovers well established and when combined with the lucerne and kikuya pastures, the growing season provided the perfect setting for impending foaling. This particular group of foals were the first bred and foaled at Mount Penny and with favourable seasonal conditions these youngsters have had optimum growing opportunity.
Once again we had a fairly even foaling with four fillys and 3 colts. We only had one outside mare foal, HEATHFEILD SOYA, who produced a lovely colt for Tarni Secombe and Shannon Mcormack, NSW.
