STYLISH MEG was a rising 3 yr old when purchased from Nita McLennan. She had been broken to saddle but very green. This vibrant little mare rates a beast extremely well. She is super intelligent with a lovely temperament. STYLISH MEG has exceeded all expectations from limited drafting opportunity. She is the regular riding mount for Lauchlan, who is still a junior competitor. At home, he takes her out mustering when he helps on the property. For us, it's not about how many wins this little mare has but more the fact that she keeps her rider safe and will only go as she is asked - this makes her a very special mare! As Lauchlan becomes more intune with campdrafting she will 'step up' to the competition level required for her young rider - when the time is right.  At the moment, Andrew is competing her sparingly and she is proving to be a quality mare. We also have a half brother to STYLISH MEG that will be worked over the Winter for Lauchlan to show in the ASH ring.

Meg acheived the following results from 11 drafts in the 2010/11 Southern Campdraft Assoc. Circuit:

* Meg was unlucky to miss the final but Andrew won this Novice on Destinys Oak and come 2nd on another of our horses which had come back to us for some drafting, Neales River Cash.

All are out of RIVERVIEW TOPSY whose sire, SILVER MINSTRIL is the result of a 'few gates left open and STAR BLACK MINSTRIL finding his way to TARA'S (FM) paddock' as stated by Maxine Brooks in a recent edition of the ASH Journal. TARA (FM) also carries the Young Valais bloodline through her sire, Sensation.

CADABRA is out of STAR CADDIE ^{Star Black Minstril * Mills Stud Caddie} BOOERIE CREEK TAIPAN'S dam, YARRANOO BETHENA is by STAR BLACK MINSTRIL out of YARRANNOO BRACELET. By COOLUM SIMMER (IS), Y.BRACELET is out of YARRANOO BANGLES (FM) who has Young Valais as her sire & her dam is an own daughter of the famous Hunter Valley mare, WIDDEN LASS. YARRANOO BETHENA is also the dam of NONDA FEEL THE RHYTHM - dam of BOONARA PARTY GIRL - 2009 Cloncurry Stockman's Challenge winner.

WIDDEN LASS was a prominent campdraft winner in the 1930 - 40's owned by the Haydon family, NSW.

MY STYLISH AIR is by STAR BLACK MINSTRIL & out of WELSH AIR, who can be traced back to the imported Irish thoroughbred, BALLY MOSS. MY STYLISH AIR was a quick mare and her foals are highly sought after by Polo & Polo Crosse enthusiasts. STAR STYLISH MEG is the only registered ASH daughter of MY STYLISH AIR.
