BRIGHT JEWEL offers great performance opportunities and like her siblings she has the genetics to make a top broodmare once her saddle career is completed. This delightful mare has just been started under saddle by talented young horseman, Ben Loades. She has come home soft, responsive with plenty of ability. She had 14 days riding out and is now having a spell out in the paddock. Due to an injury (human) we decided to place BRIGHT JEWEL in foal to KAHMOO KENJARRA. The resulting foal (a black filly with a bright white star) will be a combination of proven campdrafting bloodlines. After weaning her filly, BRIGHT JEWEL will be bought back into work and will spend time up north in the mustering camp in readiness for her campdrafting debut.

The dam of BOOERIE CREECK WINCHESTER, NABINABAH ZEPHYER is a full sister to one of Australia's legendary campdraft mares - NABINABAH BREEZETTE. They are daughters of the greaat mare NABINABAH COMMA - FM

BREEZETTE was bred by the Archibald family and was generously gifted to the Palmer family. This young mare had her first start under saddle at the Australian Stock Horse Show (Hunter Branch) in Scone where she won her class for 2yr old fillies. As a 3yr old she was educated in the art of Polo and at her first carnival she was Champion Novice Polo Pony but it was in the campdrafting arena that this brown mare was to shine. At her first drafting start at Rouchel in NSW a campdrafting star was launched with BREEZETTE winning the Maiden & Novice Drafts with the added bonus of scoring Top Cut Out scores in both drafts.  It was the beginning of a career that saw this outstanding mare become the winner of 6 World Cup Campdrafting Championships & 2 Warwick Gold Cups (1981 & 1984). In the run up to her 1981 Warwick Gold Cup win, she placed 2nd in 1980 (the year BLUE MOON MYSTIC won), 1981 was a big year for N.BREEZETTE as she not only won the Gold Cup but also the Sydney & Melbourne drafts. NABINABAH ZEPHYR is also the dam of NABINABAH MYTH, whose daughter, MONKEY CREEK FABLE went on to win three World Campdrafting Championships (1991, 1994 and 1995) for Bob & Joyce Palmer.  This granddaughter of N.ZEPHYR also won the 1990 Open Australian Campdraft and in 1994 the ABCRA Campdrafting title, all with Bob Palmer in the saddle.

YARRANOO GLENCOE is out of GLENNA who is an ASHS Foundation Mare. GLENNA is also the dam of STAR GLENNA'S DAUGHTER who produced champions on every level and who themselves have bred on to produce champions of today. YARRANOO GLENCOE only had 20 registered progeny prior to dying prematurely.
