With Neales River Livestock you will have the opportunity to acquire & develop the more traditional facets of cattle handling that are fading across the industry but in high demand in day to day management. As a large family owned agricultural business we also require  our succesful applicants to be able to assist in the daily operations of Neales River Livestock as outlined in each position.

At Neales River Livestock, we have invested in the breeding of Australian Sport Horses by sourcing top quality Australian Stock Horse mares bought for their athleticism, performance bloodlines and most of all - type! Combined with the Quarter Horse bloodlines renown for their ability, desire, temperament & most of all trainability this blend of bloodlines is producing a quality horse that will do the miles in the mustering camp with the ability to perform at an elite level over a wide range of equestrian disciplines with a focus on campdrafting, challenges, hacking, polo crosse and pony club mounts. For individuals with solid equine skills, opportunities to handle & assist in the development of some of the younger horses through out the year will also be available.

Our goal is to attract young individuals who envisage long term careers in the livestock industry. Over a period of time you will develop skills that will establish sound foundations for your future years.

We believe over a 12 month period we can develop your skills that will establish sound foundations for your future years. Remembering the days can be long, hot and at times physically demanding but that is the character of the Australian Outback!


International Visitors

 

We would like to encourage international visitors to Australia to apply for the advertised positions, applicants must have experience in the beef and equine industry's within their country of origin. Successful applicants must hold a  Working Holiday Visa (SubClass 417)  

The location of each property allows those eligible for a second Working Holiday Visa an opportunity to extend their stay, applicants must complete at least three months of specified work in regional Australia.
