This position would suit an active semi-retired couple who have a farming or rural background and are looking for a change of scenery and wide open spaces. The successful applicants must be trustworthy, reliable,self motivating to mantain homestead complex in the manager's absence. Whilst the role is stipulated below, it is of a general nature and may vary depending on daily circumstances. It is imperitive that individuals be in good health as this position is geographically isolated in it's location but has a wide variety of services  within close proximity to the homestead.

The primary role of this position is listed as a general guideline:

• Ongoing Farm and Property Maintenance & Repairs where required.
  
• Continue ongoing property projects where required
  
• Mechanical Maintenance Book - Plant & Heavy Machinery*
  
• Monthly Maintenance - Air, Fuel, Oil on all Plant 
• Fuel Usage & Supplies 
• Ordering Book - Property Supplies 
• Ability to liaise with members of staff when required.  
• Assess plant, vehicle, water, fence/yard conditions on a weekly basis.
  
• Truck license*
• Ability to drive grader*
  

This position would suit someone with sound mechanical knowledge or general building experience.

To be able to provide as the role requires:

• Nutritious meals with adequate variety for station staff (4-6 people including selves) but usually only 3
  
• Morning tea and provisions
• Pantry maintenance and organization
• Prepare grocery lists to maintain adequate supplies
  
• Keep a clean hygienic kitchen with an understanding of quality country cooking
  
• Maintain kitchen utensils and equipment are in good order
• Housekeeping 
• Care for small garden area and vegetable plot
  
• Maintain pool area 
• Reception when required - phone calls/radio/mail
